Accredited Nursing Schools in Oklahoma

RNs: All RN candidates in Oklahoma must first earn a nursing education from an accredited institution. The state of Oklahoma also requires RN candidates to complete some clinical assignments in newborn nursing, mental health, and adult care nursing. Prospective RNs must pass the NCLEX-RN certification examination. Licensure examination can be scheduled through the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, which administers NCLEX in accordance with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Recent legislation requires proof of citizenship, according to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. License may be given to citizens, legal permanent resident aliens, and qualified aliens and nationals.
