University of Miami School of Nursing Nursing School Location — Coral Gables, Florida
As South Florida's first baccalaureate nursing program in 1948, and the second in Florida to offer the doctorate in nursing in 1985, the School of Nursing and Health Studies has a history of leading the way in nursing education. The School was one of the first in the country to offer the nurse practitioner program in 1973. Two years after introducing the master's in nursing in 1976, the School added nurse midwifery and psychiatric-mental health nursing options.

Take LeJeune Road south for about five miles (through downtown Coral Gables); turn right onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Make a right onto South Alhambra Circle. The University Parking Garage (5665 Ponce de Leon Boulevard) will be facing you. Proceed straight forward. The Student Wellness Center is located on Dickinson Drive, a short walking distance from the parking garage.
Driving From The North:
Take I-95 South, which feeds into U.S. 1; continue south on U.S. 1 about four and a half miles. Turn right onto South Alhambra Circle. The University Parking Garage (5665 Ponce de Leon Boulevard) will be facing you. Proceed straight forward. The Student Wellness Center is located on Dickinson Drive, a short walking distance from the parking garage.
Driving From The West:
Take I-75 South toward Miami. From I-75 take 826 South. Continue south on 826 to Miller Road exit. Turn left onto Miller Road (SW 56 Street) to end of road. Turn right onto San Amaro Drive to end of road. Turn left onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard. At the first traffic light, turn left into the University Parking Garage (5665 Ponce de Leon Boulevard). The Student Wellness Center is located on Dickinson Drive, a short walking distance from the parking garage.
Parking On Campus:
