School of Nursing graduate and undergraduate nursing programs have been awarded continuing accreditation by the Board of Commissioners of the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), formerly the National League for Nursing (NLN). NLNAC accreditation establishes that nursing programs meet national standards in curriculum, quality and preparation of faculty, teaching and learning resources, and achievement of established learning outcomes. nursing programs include a 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (RN to BSN) 2 year completion program. A Master of Science Degree in Nursing is also offered with Family / Adult Practitioner and Nursing Education concentrations.

Admissions

4 year generic BSN nursing program is designed for students without nursing college credit. High school graduates and transfer students must first apply to through the regular undergraduate admissions application. Students then apply to the nursing department once general education requirements have been met. Admission into is competitive and students are encouraged to apply early. Applications are evaluated for fall, spring and summer terms on a rolling basis. Students are notified of their status once all documents have been received. Example admission dates for fall entry: Applications completed by November 15 - notifications sent by December 15, applications completed by January 15 - notifications sent by February 15, applications completed after January 15 - notifications sent by April 1.
