The College Network is pleased to present the FIRST and ONLY accredited Respiratory Therapy Associate Degree distance education program via California College for Health Sciences at Independence University. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), Independence University has been a leader in respiratory therapy education for 28 years.
Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy Overview
This program is a combination of basic respiratory care courses, research and practical experience in patient care. Upon completion you will be eligible to take the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), entry level (CRT) and advanced level (RRT) credentialing exams.
The College Network’s Comprehensive Learning Modules complement the university’s online curriculum by preparing students to earn prerequisite and general education course credits by passing college equivalency exams. This program format allows students to study at a more independent pace than traditional programs.
